what exactly do you do when u get them catching to i need some sort of spacer or washer?

no ive had my hubs machind, have cav shafts at the mo but too long orderd some propper ones but ive heard the big outer cv's sometimes catch the back of the hub, ones that had abs should be ok but ive got the ones with abs.
