alright guys
yesterday i lost 5th gear in my car, so i used the search on here to see if anyone had similar problems.so i tried setting up my gear linkage. spent all day doing that and it still doesn't wanna know.
does anyone have any other suggestions as to what it could be?
theres also a wining noise when the clutch is up, but when its pushed down it stops?

the whirring noise is usually the thrust bearing! will get worse trust me

yeah but i dont want to spend a couple of hundred on a clutch and still not get 5th, because all the other gears work fine at the mo!
is it worth getting an uprated one or will a standard one do?
