I've got a 1.4 Corsa C (SRi), and I quite fancy getting a pipercross BFO cone - but they only spec one for a 1.2 Corsa from what i saw. Really prefere the BFO cone over a drilled airbox bcoz i think they look the dogs bollox and it'l also give me some sound.

My question is, will the Pipercross BFO cone fit the 1.4 (even though it states its for the 1.2), or can it be modded to fit the 1.4? Cheers

sorry, to save starting a new topic...

I was wondering if the cone (for 1.2 16v) can fit the 1.2 8v with no work?

yer that would be cool ...a regular pipercross induction kit just looks too small once the airbox has been removed. Im guessing its a case of the BFO cone being to big? maybe it could be angled another way and have some custom piping

No the reason it's not available for the 1.4/1.8s is that we don't have a 200mm diameter base with that neck size.

I'll see what can be done.

Lol, didn't see your question

If you've got a Corsa B, then the PK037XL will fit everything from the 1.0 12volt through to the 1.6 Sport (but not the 1.6 C16XE GSi). That includes the 1.2 8v.

i've been real happy with it but apparantly my brother isn't happy with it being on with his insurance being the name blah blah blah all that BS so i have to go back to standard.

RESTRICT airflow?
It's the biggest bloody filter you'll be able to get on a Corsa

The XL filters are the same size as the "BFO", but they're made with the better vortex foam - I just found out today that the outer layer is more efficient at filtering that the BFO foam.. but also has better airflow. Go figure

There's two XL filters, the one for the Corsa B that fits everything except the 1.6 C16XE GSi and the one for the Corsa C that only fits the 1.2 SXi

yer mate, i had to move the airbox ...its actually not a bad fit to be fair, the pipe in the cone is a little big, there a rubber inside that fills it out a bit, but i might try get another one to make sure its properly air tight. very pleased

So the neck on the filter could do with being a little narrower?

Joff you say it only fits "1.2 Sxi" Does that mean it wouldn't fit a 1.2 Comfort, or 1.2 CLub, they're all the same aren't they ?

No problem Mr 18

Red, not sure tbh. It would be nice to try one on a club or something non-SXi.
