Whats the best deal around? My brother got his ipod 40gb for about 300quid a few months before christmas, i want atleast a 20gb one, the cheepist i can find is around the 190 mark, anyone got any good links?

go for Iriver much suppirior device and loads more features.
comes in 20Gb or 40Gb

I dunno anything about that Iriver but I'd agree that iPods are definitely shite (and don't look that much better than any other mp3 player either)

ipod is abit more like a status symbol now.. or was.
I've got a 40gb 4th gen which I do enjoy, cost me about £300 and holds most but not all of my music collection

I Was going to buy the Ipod a few weeks bck but the fact that you can only charge it so many times then have to send the thing back to Apple when the battery dies pisses me off so i never bothered..

you reckon these are better nismo?
ive not really looked into these, but i definately will, have to say,was messing with my brothers ipod at christmas and i think they're brilliant, they definately do everything id want from a portable music player, but i dont get the 40gb picture ipods, i dont see any use in them

They've sorted this problem with the last 2 generations of 'pod. Now the battery lasts just aslong as any other NiMH battery.

yeah , boss has one , much better than the Ipod.
Ipod are now fashion items where as the Iriver has the features i like.

rally dont see the point of image storage tho, seems pointless.

is point less but can use the iriver as a HD aswell , not sure if you can with the ipod?

Images and colour screen? There's a version of the iPod that does have a colour screen and does hold images.
