OK guys, was here a long time ago, a few of you may remember me.
The time has come to now sell one of my prized possesions, the number plate C5 RSA is on retention and I'm open to offers.
Lets have no stuipidity, £5 won't cut it, but I am open to offers. Let me know, if you would prefer to discuss it privately then let me know and we can (email, msn etc)
Thanks
Dave

OK, had a lot of messages, thanks
The registration is on retention, this means that it can be transfered to another car very quickly. It means that the plate is not on a car (certificate going through at the moment) it is in paper form. This means I have already paid the £85 transfer fee.
Now, I've had a couple of offers of £150-£200. Frankly I think thats a bit insulting. You cannot realistically purchase a single number on a plate (ie A5 AAA etc) for less than £500 - £1000 obviously depending on what you want, if that gives you guys any help
If its a case of selling it for £200 or keeping it, then I'll keep it, sorry guys!

tbh mate, its only worth what people are willing to pay, so cant say that the offers are insulting
however, if you had a price in mind then you should have stated in the first post - that way it will stop you insulting us for making offers, and we "insulting" you because you wrote offers instead of xx pounds
so i would edit post to say....selling C5 RSA for 600 quid or so

I take your point about its only worth what people are willing to pay, agreed. The reply may have come across badly, for which I am sorry
Didn't mean to rub anyone up the wrong way

Just to let you know that i sold C4 RSA for £700 a few months ago, but that included transfer fees etc.. so £600 i feel is a fair price..
good luck with the sale fella, it may take some time so dont let it go for a pittance!
