Just spoke to safety devises who have quoted

£252 + vat for the REAR
£145 + vat for the FRONT
£35 + vat for the sidebars.

I dont know whether this is a bit steep or not?
Anyone with any other suggestions at all?

Peter Lloyd Racing do a full cage for £422 but im thinking i should be able to get it cheaper.

Nah i want FIA because its going on the track - not fussed if its polished. Would prefer a black coating anyway - but i want an X cross member in the back - Saftey devises told me it would take 4 weeks.

Spankee had the same cage as me in his coutenay C20LET astra when he wrote that off, the cage saved his life pretty much.
I want to get the front half added to mine at a later date

i didnt have any problems at all with the sunroof but thats because its an aftermarket one not a standard item and just lifts up (doesnt slide back).

Im afraid i have no idea whats the difference apart from i have a cross diagonal and harness bars. Also when i spoke to safety device they said there prices have got up in the last few months so maybe the advert is out of date on the price.
