Im trying to get MP3's set as ring tones and it keeps saying invalid format even know i can play them as normal music
Any ideas?

if its the vodafone branded version you cant have mp3's as ringtones
needs flashing i think

needs a non branded firmware flashing on it which is more hassle than its worth for a mp3 ringtone. I have the vodafone version too and just used the standard tones

With SE phone you can get round this with some software to change the .mp3 into a protected file. There might be a nokia alternative out there.

looks like i will be sending this fone back to vodafone then.
if i get 1 from the fone shop without the vodafone sticker on does this allow me to use mp3 as ring tones?

I have one and its on voda asweel and i get the same error , just convert the file to a .WAV (pretty large then) or convert to a 3gp audio file and it will work.

lol allso with Vodafones there a wallpaper glitch that when setting pics as wallpapers they go blurry as it cant right the correct file output
