just been phoning around for insurance quotes on a corsa 1.2 8v for when i pass my test.
phoned aon and they quoted me nearly £5000 tpf&t when the car is only worth about £1200.
i think that the person on the other end of the phone said that they couldnt do a better deal because the car is too powerfull for a new driver?
but i got it cheaper off another company

I ended up goin under my mum for the first year of driving on my old sxi as I couldnt get a quote under £2000 even with pass plus and a cat1 alarm on it! I am only just now getting quotes around the £1000 mark on my civic I think a years driving experience must make quite a bit of difference??

I'm 23 I have 0 NCB, I drive 1.4 corsa with bodykit, alloys, exhaust all declared, fully comp. The way I got it cheap was I put it in my gf name as we share the car she is 26
Thats with HIC - i've heard some bad stories about them but they seem fine to me, take ages to answer the phone

Ive been getting quotes on a new civic type r and it was £700 bargain and that was with Tesco's

I'm lucky coz my girlfriend is older than me and has around 8 years ncb.
