dont have any chip.
it is turning over just not getting fuel or spark

this the x16xe yer?

cos i bealve like mine you shud hav a blk box the goes round tge ignition barrel and a chip tht goes in the key...

cos wen i chnaged my ECU over i forgot hte put chip in a the ecu light was flashing wen i turned igntion on, by putting the correct chip in it sorted it

yep its an x16xe but the car it came out didnt have a chip in it?

gav is right, had same problem with mates corsa!
Firstly the injectors werent firing and that was becuase he didnt have the chip from the ecu, had to buy a new one

the chip is the immobiliser.
Im sure theres a way to get around that bypassing though,

still not got it going. there has been three wires cut at the plug down by the ecu, small black conector, connected them up but thats making the engine managment light flash, when 2 of the wires are bridged the fuel pump comes on even without the key, tryed startin it doin this and it was almost starting, but dont think that a good idea

id imagine when u bridge that it is bridging the immobiliser which is normally on the fuel pump! So thats the wires that connect to the chip next to the barrel id say!
