I have this in my 106 Gti. And if I up the boost and lift off the throttle that needle goes backwards and a Vrrrrrmmm Tish noise comes out of my mouth

Tacho is inside the LCD screen in the middle there, shift lights across the top come on at 6750 (green), 7000 (yellow) and 7250rpm (red).



EDIT: Realised you can't see the shift lights

mine are installed where heater knobs used to be tehre nice circles to cit out and place new guages then i moved controls to inside glove box

i got a nice simple boost guage on the pillar.

looks good and not in ur face
