Definetly does .

Halfords recomend red primer , with red paint . Don't go by this as you get a much . much darker finish , and it looks cack

I sprayed my lock surround with grey primer , and the paint is still slightly different , so I would reccomend white primer .

I sprayed part of my wing when i first got my flame red corsa sport. I used halfords red primer followed by the flame red. It was sanded down inbetween. The only mismatch was where the new paint joined the old paint.

I don't know what paint supplier you worked for, but there is only 1 flame red. There are lots of star silvers, but only 1 flame red. Its been the same colour for years and years, the only reason older cars look different is cos they have faded and need mopping

I did use the red primer then flame red paint.

They do look quite dark, going to sand down and paint again and see what happens. It's only jacking point covers so you may not notice if it's slightly off.

Cheers redsxi i'll keep that in mind. But I'll give it another go myself and see how they come out, I'm not in a rush so will do the whole process again..

cheers for comments guys..........
