Following a Saab 9-3 Convertable this morning and i thought i might have to try a little bit but we both took a left and he put his foot down, i overtook him like he was stood still. Just took a look on Parkers and the figures are pitiful
Not sure which engine he had but theyre nowt to write home about

Hardly surprised when it's an executive car...
Hi-pressure turbo one is better though (in the 6's to 60)...

You can get slow version of any car, pick an Aero next time. 7.7 to 60 isn't pityful, and his roof comes off, yours doesn't. What you must remember that most people who drive those type of cars do so because they would prefer to have a moderately fast convertible to a very fast farm car.

My mate had a saab 900.
Was very quick for what it was.
Had a new BSR ECU, BSR induction system, HKS BOV etc etc.
Was running at about 265bhp.
Surprised alot of people!

Slowest one is 10 to 60, then 8.5 then 7.7.
10 seconds is worrying - thats Corsa GSi territory...

Fair point, but the saab driver fancied his chances and was punished accordingly.
