im also thinkin about this, but think ill leave it to pros even tho i like to take on most things myself, so i can get it hooked into my alarm.

also anyone whose done this, have u got rid of ur interior handles? id like to do this and put a nice little tweeter build there!

i was talking to a mate the other day and he has wierd his solenoids up a bit different!

His doors NEVER lock, he got one solenoid for the doors o open them, and a button on the inside and going to have them on the outide and on his keyfob!

Basically his doors can only be opened from the buttons or fob and the buttons cannot be used when the alarm is armed!

its a clever way to do it as you dont have to have interior or exterior handle and apparently isnt hard at all to do!

i would be doing this but i dont wanna re-do my door cards!

way that works cheeky is the alarm puts out a negative trigger when its armed, which is in turn connected to a 5 pin relay. The solenoids are connected to pin 87A, so that when the relay is activated (alarm activated), 87A switches off and goes to pin 87 (not used), hence stopped the solenoids from getting power.

I am in the same boat can you just pop the drivers open with one button and both on the other? as it would be a pain in the arse having to shut the passenger door if you had no passenger getting in.

if anyone finds a company that will fit it to my clifford and supply solinoids ect let me know as i want this doing before the car goes in for painting.

Ben you will have a seperate button and solenoid for each door, would be harder to make them pop at the same time as would have to run wires to other side!

Any clifford dealer should do it for you, u2u hitman he got his done somewhere!

i e-mailed a company that said they did clifford solenoids and they sent me the exact picture of the solenoids in that e-bay link

So either they are not cliffors ones that they e-mailed me or the ones on e-bay are the ones clifford uses!
