I'm sure i can see a turbo on that, and a DV....with throttle bodies....must be bloody quick!
oh and a dirty great intercooler on the front!

TB's are proberbly all but wasted on a Forced induction engine, but i suppose every little helps . Also its a company show car, so why not .

Another thing... whats the point in the dumpvalve except to loose pressure when changing gear and make the car slower .

yes its being built by JAMsport in northampton, going to be a beast, they finished it then, last time i saw it it was nearly done(last weekend). Throttle bodies and a superchrager its a weapon!

the carbon roof is the only thing that lets it down IMO, as it is bonded over the original roof ( i think)

Didnt say they were wasted, i said they were all but wasted. The main benifit of having such a short inlet is lost as its got a manifold built onto it to channel the air to each Throttle. Really all they've done is changed one big throttle flap into 4 small ones . the rest of the benifits could have been gained from a pug equivalet of a mantzel box. .

don;t work the same on a forced induction engine. TB's will allow more air in than a single throttle body.

What if you just used a huge Single TB then?

Im not debating whether there better or not, there deff gonna be as youve potentialy got a bigger SA for the air to pass through, plus the air will be turbulent for a shorter time than if the TB was placed say 6Inches further away.

you cold have a huge single TB but you'd still need the larger inlet and a larger TB would incur problems with lag and mapping and low/off boost characteristics. the 4 smaller TB's will give better off boost driving

...But the main question is, is it realy worth the £2k+ investment in TB's for the extra gain?

Only reason im interested is im sure i remember reports for the creator of the engine below saying the gains weren't that much
