Rockford do these - http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=3757&tab=2 for £240! 100W RMS!

or some rainbow components - http://car.rainbow-audio.de/products/details.php?lan=2&pro=1&lin=3&art=231531 - 150W RMS, but these will be even more prices than RF me thinks!

Also some Moral - http://www.morelusa.com/renaissance/sr-5_2.htm - probably around the £500 mark i would have thought!

MB quart are owned by rockford essentially the same make, but a bit cheaper.

With regards to the rear speakers, imagine being at a concert, when you face the stage the music comes from in front of you. Its the same principle with the sound 'stage' in a car. You want the highest quality sound facing you.

depends what your budget is mate...personally i would go with focals if you've got around the 200 quid mark - cant go wrong with those, but you do need to build some door pockets (your gonna have to for most top end comps anyways).

Although if you have more then boston acoustic stuff is pretty mint (a decent set of comps from them cost between 500 quid and a grand), R.E are suppose to be alright as well

But have a look at rainbow and oxygen stuff - both of these brands seem to be the muts dangles, and as there up and coming, you should be able to strike some good deals with reps (chillout on here is oxygen dude, and im sure you could get something done with a set of comps and amp etc)

Also to remember to budget for a decent amp - your looking at spending about 200-300 quid for a really good 2 channel amp. And a dont skimp out on RCAs and speaker cable - otherwise you might aswell piece it together with string

my ex had rockford FQ's i think they were.. sounded really nice.. tight bass HOWEVER the treble was a little too much for my liking.. she had them amped off a Rockford amp too.. was an ACE setup.. but cost her all up over £4000

JL Audio XR comps are great.. £380 but worth every penny

the sorta money being talked about in this thread you would be hard pressed to beat Focal 165 K2P's in my book, amazing speakers for a bit under £400.
