I'm always in a rush so my cars get booted in 1st up to around 20MPH just to the end of the road. ONLY WHEN IT'S QUIET THOUGH. Loads of kids around here now

every car i have owned hates being pushed over 3K on a stone cold engine.. so I always try and keep it under that... but to rev it to 6K would be ouuuuuchhhh! when its warm 6K should be fine every now n then but not when cold

i thought with it being a fiat it would be ok
I was in a rush to get to macdonalds for a crunchie mcflurry, so i thought id push it a bit dont worry. i got my mcflurry, then phoned the breakdown people and said, "my car says not to drive it"
Looks like i have a trip to fiat tomorrow

No, its done it a few times. normally just a sensor fault and they wipe the computer and im away. now its out the warranty i have to magic money from somewhere (wait for the headlines, "northeast boy mugs granny") but thats life

True but cold start ragging doesn't break it as such, just decreases engine life.
Gf's mum's Z3 does that, you mince around and the service lights tak eages to come on (i.e when she drives it) Then when her dad drives it it comes back with half the lights on, and he only went to get the paper
