can anyone recommend a good set of component speakers
i have some £40 alpine co-axials in at the moment and they sound shite -
no bass to them watsoever and little volume -
they will be run off a sony xpold head unit - looking to spend £50 - £100

just looking at the magnet/housing etc it looks massive, so very unlikely - although look up some tech specs and if the mounting depth is bigger than 65mm then you will need door builds

73mm deep, so no they wont go eithout a bit of work, bugger.
