all gaskets, pistons, rings, oil seals, oil pump, rod bolts, crank bearing bolts, big end shells, head rebuild, new camshafts either bores honed or rebored, timing belt, rollers and tensioners, water pump etc etc. i think ur getting the idea

yer alot of bits my mate has a gsi and its done over 100k and they said they was getting this done
just wondered what it involved
mine has done 45k when would i need one

id do it when it breaks... dont worry about it yet.. your engine isnt even broken in yet..

i thought it was low miles i might have to get a new idle control valve soon as it is playing up and the mechanic i saw said it needs a new 1

i take it your revs are up and down, one sec at 900 revs then up to 2000 ish then back to around 900.. if thats the case ICV is usually the culprit... you can test if its faulty or not... they sometimes tend to get clogged up if a car breathes heavy.. Oily film in breather pipes... that can clog up an ICV and stop it operating properly
