My sister and my mate both have saxos (1.1's i think) with apalling brakes! Is it true that the pug 106 gti brakes are a straight swap the same way as gte brakes are on corsas? They are both considering upgrading!

if they are 3 stud which most 1.1s are then all you can use are 1.1 brakes, as the brakes on all higher spec models i.e. VTS, GTI, C2 VTS are 4 stud

I have no complaints with my gti brakes, however as the saxo and the pug are basically the same chassis could you not use 3.0 V6 406 Coupe brakes

These are the ones im looking at for the pug and their big fuckers

1.1's should be 4 stud,sure its only 1.0 thats 3 stud.

the 406 v6 coupe brake set up is like gold dust stuarty.there big ass brembo's

106 gti + vts callipers are the same need 14" rim

306 gti 6 + xsars vts callipers are bigger,need 15" rim
