Why would the car need a new mot? The engine has nothing to do with the mot

I still don't see why you would need to re-test after conversion, no where on the mot it self does it say the engine size....just wait untill it comes round again then worry about emissions

the only reson for a new mot after a conversion is to make sure that your car is still road legal and safe

As said previous depends on what your insurance conditions are, they may want to cancel your policy unless you rung them up first, before the conversion.

Adrian Flux asked me for detailed pictures to be forward to them of the engine in the bay and mounting points, don't think they do this normally but I bought an insurance policy on 3 vehicles.

Only reason ill be getting an MOT after mines is finished is that my tax runs out before my MOT, you have to hand your MOT form over for tax and obviously you will be getting tax based on a 2litre but if your MOT says 1.2etc on it and you ask for 2litre tax not sure if they would give you it??? Confused now!
