finally managed sell the FTO picked up a compltely standard 106 GTI in diablo red
52k on the clock

had to sell as have moved out and car was attracting too much attention from local pikeys

far more subtle, thinking of taking GTI badges off too

also tracker renewal was due, droplinks needed doing, mot and service due, car had been keyed so was looking at loads of money put right

Think you did the right think, FTO was nice but im sure you will have fun in the GTi - get the suspension done and then leave it

FTO was superb but the GTI is so much better to drive at the minute.
loving getting back into a manual car!

the bloke looked at the car but i didn't point out scratches his resonsibility for that

took him test drive he asked what knocking noise was, told him was more than likely drop links

he knows when MOT is due, tracker every change of ownership it needs renewing

FTO was priced to reflect what needed doing

would have been even better if you'd bought Matts GTI - thats very very tasty and subtle with a few power mods to match
