Seriously had enough of the game. I now need to try and recover as much as I can out of my Corsa. Car cost me £7500 brand new back in 2000. I've spent approx £10K on it (believe it or not).
Is £4700 realistic do you think? If not think i'll break it and scrap the 5 yr old shell LOL.
Pics/ Spec in my garage.
Its a track/performance themed 5 door with 20XE engine, with a fair amount of Alpine Ice to sum it up in a sentance.

Yeah I have to agree that £4700 is a bit optimistic... depends what ICE you have though.
I was hoping for at least £3k for mine but I'm still not sure if I'm gonna sell at that price or just keep it for fun (considering the amount it's cost me recently)...

If im gonna bite the bullet least i'll take would be £4k but at the end of the day it is a hell of a lot of car for £4K. Hate depreciation on cars. May as well polish it up and stick it in storage for when my lil sis turns 18 and drives but she aint getting insurance though is she LOL.
Well it would prob take me 4/5 months of serious graft to earn me about £4.5K in savings after my living Ex's are taken out so may aswell be a stubborn git and keep it and just get saving. Feck nows what I want but I just want a nice chug along STANDARD car!! A nice A3 Diesel or something.
Anyone thinking of getting into this game GET OUT before its too late!! Im fast approaching 23 and am totally fed up with modifying!! Might buy me a cheap as feck battered Escort Mk1 as a project car but never again would I start pissing about with a nearly new car...

Thats the point tim,
If you dont get near the price you want you may as well keep it for fun, and save for another car!

But a mk1 escort to build fully spec will be 10K plus and that wont be anything super special!
I say take the engine out and out back to standard and sell on for 3k
then sell parts or buy yourself a kit car chassis and use the engine for that
