vibe are better than JBL.
I no longer rate vibe subs. I have an MB4 though and it works quite well and stays very cool.

couldnt get hardly any bass off two gt-4s running off a legacy LA890 amp. IS there any reason why you cant go for another make?

ive never had anything JBL, but all vibe stuff i have had, hasnt lasted me more than a couple a months.

I'd say JBL... don't really like vibe and for the money the JBL GT4's are great! They'll last long too...
My question is... what's your budget? If you're willing to buy 2 subs, why not get one decent sub which'll sound better than 2 x budget/cheaper subs?

thing is i can get the 2 vibe subs in the vibe ported box new for 100 quid from a car audio shop cos my mate owns it and wants rid of em!
