some people consider classic styling to be more appealing than a combat kit a sunstrip and sum neon washer jets, all comes down to taste.
I personally think that looks very nice!

Who cares about the engine, they are cheap to get another one and plentiful in supply.
A goosed TX box is a good excuse to get a hydraulic one (teddy will corect me on this) as they are better.
With a car this age, the shell is the important thing! If u see the link on MIG the interior is SPOTLESS.
I WISH i had the money as i would buy it now

I dont like Cav's or the car(s) you described in your reply.
I look at the Cav and see a dated car with bland family saloonish looks (in standard guise of course).
Just me I guess.

Dont get me wrong, some Cav turbos look nice but that thing is a clapped out old piece of crap!
How can anyone think that is gorgeous? It just looks like any other old taxi chavalier with a different front bumper and some shocking rims? With that mileage it probably has been a taxi!
I must have missed something?

I have to agree with you there. I look at them and think old car which probably has lots of rust.
Fair enough it has a very powerful and tunable engine but the end of the day its in a Cavalier.
I have more respect for corsa's with cavalier turbo's in them.

Have to admit that one does look nice!
Needs an intercooler to fill that hole in the bumper tho!!!
I hate it when you can see the chassis through mesh! Like this:

Back in the day I reckon they must have been one of the quickest saloons on the road, but they never made classic status. Why have an old car with old technology (I mean, check the transfer boxes on them)
each to their own but it just isnt for me!

They are simple and effective design. They are rare as fuck, not many people know much about them. They are a sleeper next to a sierra coswroth.
Think they look fantastic considering the age, but i love vauxhalls. Dunno why. Just do!

Each to their own matey, nowt wrong with that at all!
The one in question at the start of the thread just doesnt look special at all tho!!! Its the sort of car that the pikeys 3 doors down have had on their drive for the lat 7 years, the one that gets started once every 2 weeks (usually at 8am on a Sunday morning!) and runs like a bag of nails (for 3 mins) You know what I mean?

Yes stu i dont love STANDARD vauxhalls generally so it would be something in desperate need of a new set or rims and some cleaning up and removal of badges etc
And yes iknow the car you mean, sounds like a silver corsa i know of
