I have been having problems with my amp not switching on ( see previous topic) , even when I have checked the remote cable , and replaced it !
I have now wired the remote cable , to the red +12v ignition cable , and the sub starts up with the head unit ..
I am wondering if this is a safe way of doing it ?
Cheers

if you wired the remote to the 12v+ then the amp will be permanently on (running down ur battery) its not unsafe, just a pain in the ass to have to jumpstart ur car every time u want to start it!

as above.
culd wire it up to the battery but with a switch in there. however, id be more concerned as y the remote isnt working. i replied in the other thread - make sure your using the actual remote!
