well basically i bought a caramel wheel - didnt know how to use it and fucked up my entire paint work then i realised it has to be done ever so slow and carefully and i did sig16v's off here the other day.... he had fading under his car but a local friend of mine mopped his entire car for 40 quid and it brought it back to a lovely red shine with no fading bits....

he'll have some pics i am sure somewhere or i will get him to put them up - i know broster did the same, he used some t-cut on his to sort it out but i wudnt recommend it as it strips the lacquer if ure cars fairly new i think its W on :S anyway good luck

it basically brings your car back to original shine, removes alot of minor scratches and restores colour as if it were new, it used 2 compounds g10 and g4 i believe, basically the car is washed entirely then g10 is applied using a rag and then its buffed off using an electric buffer and specially mopping head, this takes place over the entire car and then the g4 is applied and buffed off using a finer head to get even better results.... then u polish the entire car off! well its something like that - u cant do it unless u have the correct tools it takes time and is fairly complex if u buff to much the paint heats up and its fooked u need to keep it cool and make sure each parts done correctly .etc

hmm won't be as bad as mine lol

thats where the caramel wheel spun so fast it burnt the lacquer off the paint and has left lovely marks... u shud just have the milky effect or fading and in that case it can be cleaned up easily u may also have a few little speckles where ure paint has bubbled up and off for some reason - i only say this as both me and sig16v had them and it was in between the glue so i think it was just age and lack of light or something....

hope this helps

You use Farecla g3 and g10. G3 comes first its regular grade then use g10 as its extra fine grade.

he removed the standard one's as he decided to buy black/smoked lexus ones... this involved them having to come out in order for the new ones to go in so i hope this answers the first bit also the ones he has on are not shit they are smoked/black lexus and concordantly won't be found in a toilet but on eBay or your local motor shop

i hate lexus lights but those smoked ones go well with the black vinyl on the bumper. get a spoiler though please, otherwise social services will take ur corsa away for it being neglected.

if ur feeling crazy do what i did on mine.... when i first got it, it had pretty bad paint work, loads of little white solid dots on it (like wax but worse) so i used rubbing compound, which lakes a fair bit of the laquer off, then t-cut and auto glym resin polish the paint work. now i make sure i keep it waxed up as there is less laccuer on it and it looks a treat despite being on its original 1997 paint work. (can't see any signs of overspray)
