Hello Everyone,
Its getting closer and closer and we need to start getting this sorted again!
I intend on leading a convoy to Santa Pod this year for PV2005 on saturday June 4th. This is so we can camp over.
As Trotty will not be attending this year I thought I would post up and get the info sorted.
Meeting point 1 - South West
Leigh Delamare Services
M4 Eastbound - Btwn J18 & 17
Time - 20PM
Aim to be away by 2:15 and on towards the next point which is...
Meeting Point 2 - South Central
Chievely Services
Just off J13 M4 Eastbound
Time - 30PM
Aim to be away by 3:15 and on towards the PV2005 Campsite
The campsite opens at 2pm, imo no point in being there at that time of the day so I feel the times above (similar to last year) will be good.
Route
We then take the A34 North past Oxford until we hit the M40.
We go on the M40 up 1 junction to J10. From there we get on the A43 and follow that all the way along past Silverstone until we come to the M1. We get on at J15A and travel South down to J15. From here it's the A45 then finally some fiddly B roads closer to Podington, and then obviously Santa Pod itself.
As those who went last year remember it's really not a bad drive at all. It'll also be a fairly sensible convoy too as we don't want to give ourselves any grief - there will of course be convoy video fun as normal though
Could I please have somone from both the Welsh and South West regions organise the people who want to be in the convoy on the saturday afternoon.
Welsh lot could you also arrange a place to meet and let all your region know. You will just need to hed down the M4 like last year to the Leigh Delamare Services
Myself and AdiSRi will be sorting out the South Central lot.
Please stick names up below if you wish to attend.
Cheers
Pete!
p.s. Should you have any questions, please feel free u2u me
