Get the Astra its more mature, i m so glad i bought mine instead of the corsa.
Theres a wide range of standard factory kits to. imry, pro drive, bertone, GSI
1.8 Astra is only half 2nd slower to 60 by book figures.

is it even that much? I always thought it was only .1 or .2 of a sec.
I would say astra but i do like the corsa. Corsa will probably be easier to sell and won't be depreciating as quickly due to new mk5 astra.

i say corsa, i bought mine last year sometime, and despite the fact i have spent a bit on it and about to spend more, if i was to sell it then i doubt i would lose very much! i think you would lose more on an astra as they are pretty common and corsas are pretty rare, plus with them being rare its adds a special something and pride
any way i managed to get mine pretty cheap from elz_sri off here, well happy about that!!!!

I'd get the Astra. Heres another idea for you mate. I got a quote on a 1.8 SRi Astra and then a quote on a 1.8 SXi Astra (both 3 doors, same year etc.) and the SXi was £200 cheaper to insure. Im pretty sure the engines are the same so no loss in performance but I suppose the suspension on the SRi will be slightly stiffer and the interior a bit sportier than the SXis. But if you are gonna mod it then it doesnt really matter though
