the difference is obdvious mate its 2ohms. lol. sorry couldnt resist.
impedance is measuring ohms in a ac circuit, ac being alternating current. although a car battery gives off dc (direct current) your stereo works on a frequency, sound waves which alternate giving you a reading in ac. impedance is much the same as resistance apart from the fact i have just stated above.

the difference between the two is that the sub with the lower rating impedance(2ohm) will allow more power through if using the correct amp opposed to what the 4ohm sub will.

yeah and then turn the gains down a bit on the amp so it doesnt fry the sub
