just installed a -60mm bilstein cheap as chips suspension kit into my girlfriends tigra think it cost about 250 quid.....

the car still has 14inch steelys and standard tyres..165 or something...

the car is handling like its on bloody rails

my corsa has fk coilovers 400 quids worth and has 16's with 195/45 tyres lowered about 50mm..... yet the handling isnt half as good as the tigra.....

WHY!!!!

1) you have big wheels (ish)
2) coil overs need setting up, dampening/rebound and spring poundage choice
3)it's not a corsa

The corsa is a nova underneath too.

so you acutally under nova's really

And they are infinately better on tarmac than any corsa (in competition level of prep)

maybe you need to adjust them a bit, harder dampening

Just the underneath of the car only determins the handlign so much, there's also overall flex and then weight distritbution too.

also your'e safe in the knowledge that hse can't drive as fast as you anyways
