I have a Alpine CDR 9812RB, which has Phono Plugs for conection of rear and front 2 Ch amps if i was to mount the amp in the boot Right along side the Mrd-300 i have would i be able to tap in to the Power and Remot cable that comes from my head unit? And also would pluging the amp in to the Head unit Turn off the amps within the head unit for the front speakers? and form then on just use the External 2Ch alpine amp?

do not in any suitations use the power supply for the headunit to power anything else, you will end up blowing equipment all over the place.

I really suggest you take your car to a professional before you end up on fire. Im being deadly serious.

Ive never known anyone to power an amp from their headunits supply

no i mean stick the new 2 ch amp in the boot next to my sub amp and take the power from there as in take a power line from the mono amp accross to the 2ch amp. My mono amp is powerd from the battery direct with a proper kit,

As far as conection to the head unit the head unit does have outputs 2 sets for conection of power amps for front and rear speakers not for power but for signals

the power cable that is running into the mono block does this come diretly from the battery? If so is there an inline fuse? If so then get a fuse block which will enable you to power more that 1 amp from it and you will be able to protect your investment with extra fuses. This way is far safer and i agree with RICHIE that if you dont know what your are doin leave if and get it fitted by some1 who does

they get a 4 way fuse block with fuses have the main power going into the fuse block then out of the fuse block to each amp. Nice and safe
