Passenger side window is being a right annoying thing...
When I try to wind it up at times, it gets about 2/3 of the way then comes straight back down to 1/3rd way up & stops, keeps doing it for a few times & then actually works...
Wiring fault, or motor/sensor fault??
There electric btw...

Yes or hands or anything gets trapped it goes back down, some kind of sensor I think.
My mates L reg SRi had bounce back on it and it used to do the same as what yours is doing now and his hands werent anywhere near the window!

Halfrauds silicone and rubber lub (in the yellow can) on the back edge of the window helps reduce this.
does it coinside with hitting a pot hole at all??

nope just with general use, its not sticking or anything!
will get some of that lube though, as I know the drivers window sticks, but only when right at the bottom cos the runners worn through

happened in my C. all i did was tap the button till it got to the top (near enough, without actually putting it 100%) and then switched off the engine, and took the key out. put it back in, and pushed it to 100%, and it worked fine. who knows?
