thought id finished the engine swap started it up and hadn't done the gears right, reverse is now first, is there an easy way to make sure you get it right?
also when the clutch comes to biting it starts to make a noise as if pressure is being released from somewhere can anyone suggest what this might be, its a 1.4 mpi 8v engine, could it be anything to do with it being the engine from an astra, i wouldnt of thought that would make any difference.

thanks

you have a loctaing hole under the gear shifter gaitor, lock that in place, then there is on the gearbox too. do that then tighten it and you're away.
