just nosey, was stiffed buy a guy with an engine just wondering who he sold me out for
anyway
its a straight fit
you use the engine and gearbox driveshafts
wiring loom starter etc from the gsi
exhaust you you your std system along with the gsi manifold and cat
you will need to go to scrappy and cut off the bolt fuel pipes and attach to yours
wiwring is dead easy
and also id suggest upgrading the brakes

no
what you do is
you get a lower pully of a sri with the cranshaft sensor lobes on it
then you remove the alt, p's pump and lower pullley from the gsi engine
then fit the sri v belt pulley
fit the alt off your 8v engine to it using its brakets
then use a srii v'belt and your done

i dont wanna confuse you to much... but the solution for getting rid of the power steering pump mentioned above didnt work for me when i went from 1.2 8v to 1.6 16v....
also your 1.2 8v shafts will be fine you dont need to change them...
