Capital one are F*#!ing shit!!! I'm so sick of them. I aranged to clear my acount with them by the end of this week, That was on sunday...
Since then they have phoned me 3 times a day every day to have the same discussion with me! The haven't made any notes for other members of staff to see so they all ask the same bloody questions. And the outstanding balance has changed every time ive spoken to someone!!!!
I BLOODY HATE CAPITAL ONE!!!! Nothing but trouble!

Rant over

I have had capital one since i was 18. So has my girlfiend.

They are a very good ocmpany IMO, lenient with late payments, kind and prompt with reviews about credit etc.

They gave my girlfriend a loan with a really competetive rate and the intrest rate is quite good. Compared to my natwest one which i cancelled.

I will always stay with them as i think its a good all round service. Im sure there was a mistake with your account and you can never know how they operate their systems.

Mistakes happen. Nothig bad happned to you. quit complaining i say.

0% cards are good. But if u constantly have it on them it affects your credit history apparently.

There is no chance it affects your credit history as I have had lots as I tranfer balances on a regular basis and I have a very good rating.
I got my gf to check as well as she works for lloyds and apparently I have the best rating u can get at lloyds tsb.
So I reckon that financial advisor is talking bollocks

No reason for him to lie to me. Not in his interest, i doubt he is talking bollocks.

The intrest rate will not effect you credit rating, its how well you conduct your finances that effect your credit rating.

Always being in your overdraft can seriously effect your credit rating.

Go to http://www.uk.experian.com/ to check your credit rating.

They charge something like £3 but its worth it.

Doing that would put me £3 further into my overdraft, thereby worsening my credit rating
