Just taken the secondary air pump off, just need to know if what ave done is right.
Im left with the main plug to the pump being disconnected and doing nothing. Is this right?
Ive blocked the breathers and valve at manifold.
Is there anything else that needs done:

Thanks

you can remove the silver thing from the inlet manifold...it leaves a small hole which can be blocked up with a small plate.

a) Stops the car sounding like it's hair drier powered on start up
b) Less weight to lug about
c) something less to break
d) make more space in the bay.

everything in the red goes.

You can remove the whole tower thingy, and replace it with a teardroped shaped but of alloy or steel bolted on, saves extra weight and looks much tidier.

5-6 kg is a bit over the top its only a hair drier.

No point on an unmodiefies engine unless it is broken

Fine get yours on the scales an prove me wrong then, only I seem to remeber the motor bit being pretty heavy, motor, tower bit, piping all of it how much will it wiegh?

Place bets now

I say 5.2kgs

anyways, it's ghey, and gets in the way, nothing to do with the ECU, and doesn't cause any faults, scrap them all.

Mine has run without it since the day I got it, its a complete waste of space and does'nt even do a job thats worth it being in the engine bay.

It does weight quite a bit actually, althought about 3-4 kg's I would say.

I need to plug the hole though, I like what you have done j1400, I will have to have a look around the garage and see if I can see some metal lying around.
