i thought that the SVDD camera's were for measuring high speeds and not used in 30 and 40 zones, only 50, 60, and 70's ?

Speeds Volvo & Speed Chrysler are both on Nuthall Road, if that helps anyone who lives in Nottingham indentify it. That's the A610, it's also near the A6514 so you might've been able to see them from there if you'd been on either of them.

Doh you notts people have no idea!! Right I will answer your question -if its single carrigeway then 60mph, and it is for certain sections of the 46. Then there is a dual carrigeway section, which is 70mph. There are also these camera's through Farndon, RIGHT after the dual carrigeway/island which are accompanied by quite LARGE signs which say 40 mph. Learn the highway code dude...

Im not from Notts, I have never driven down that road before and i also thought that they were traffic camera's.. which is why i was asking the question, the road was fairly wide and straight so i presume it was a 60, you just worry about these things when you realize what they really are after its happened... tbh i only go 75 or under on the motorway so doubt i would go over 60 on a single carriageway.
