I have a weird clicking noise when I startup my car that lasts about 2-3 seconds, I believe its the starter motor.
I think it would point to a CV joint/boot issue if it was making noise when you turned the wheel, though I am not sure.

its wierd cos ive had CV joints gone before and if it clicks the clicking stays there this honestly just stops after driving a mile or so

Does it click constantly or is it one click when you accelerate and then one click when you brake etc? My old fiesta used to click when you applied force to the brakes and it turned out to be a suspension part? That used to go away after a few mins which made it hard for the garage to locate the problem because it was always fine by the time i'd got it there

Get the oil changed and use an engine flush - if the noise goes, then it was the engine tappets.
Mine was suffering from this bad last year, but used an engine flush (£2.99) and it cured it with an oil and oil filter change. The tappety noise on mine came and went also
