well i was thinking of t-cutting the whole car tomorrow, but i dont know if its worth it, as i put so much polish on it, the colour is ok, but i though if i t-cut it, the colour will look alot better?
should i do it? or will it do more harm than good??

i hate using t cut, car allways looks worse than before as it drys so quickly and is then a nightmare to get off

body repair guy recomended using g3 (less aggressive than t cut) , then something called faralite and finally a polish like autoglym to hold in the shiney ness.

as Sig said get it mopped as you'll forever be crying about swirl marks if you use T cut on black

mopped is where they use a cutting compound and go over your car with a mop, takes the top layer off i believe but looks good when done.

gotta be careful though as u can only have it mopped so many times and if the paints in bad condition can leave large marks which look crap as we found out on my mates corsa

I'd try AutoGlym's new polish. Ultra Deep Shine. It's designed for dark colours/blacks and reduces swirl marks and light scratches.

unless you know what your doing with g3 or a compound leave it to the pros as you can soon go through the lacquer and get to the paint!!

i agree with brad, mate of mine used it to try getting rid of a scratch, managed to get rid of the scratch but also got rid of all the paint around it
