i have lost mine (i think its called a VIN plate) its the identatiy plate on the front of the car under the bonnet.

how can i replace these? my mot is next month an im gueessing this is a magor thing!

mot is a safety/roadworthyness inspection, so i doubt they'd be overly bothered tbh.

You can go to Vauxhall and they will get one made up for you, you can also buy the stamp to make them from somehwhere so you can have as many as you need You don't really need it, the VIN number is stamped into the chassis in various different places, so long as at least one is visable, along with the engine number you're alright when you come to sell the car e.t.c...

its just incase the police stop me at the local cruise they seem to be a pain in the ass ... but i have always had me papers with me so they just wave me through
