With corsa B's and corsa C's, you dont need to get a wiring adaptor to get the unit up and going, just remember to swap the red and yellow bullet connecters in the new headunit harnesses, thats all the autoleads ones do and sod paying £10 for it or whatever.
The only thing the Corsa C would need (if you bought a Sony/JVC/Alpine/Pioneer) would be an aftermarket wiring adapter to support your original steering remote controls if you have them.
As far as speaker wire goes, what do you need to know?
When i do my systems i make sure i use OFC wiring, stranded wire for components ect and solid core for subwoofers.

What wires do you have? It should just have one thick lead and maybe a red/yellow and black wire?

Ok now we are getting somewhere.
Whats the model of your headunit?
The black wire goes to an earth point.
The thick black wire plugs into the back of your HU, also the red and white plugs also go into the back of the HU.
The yellow wire with the bullet goes into the yellow wire on the headunit wiring harness. If the headunit supports a cd changer it will have a double bullet female connector in the harness, it might be on the red power line or the yellow power line on the headunit harness though.
