can anyone tell me which models of standard head unit (CD/mp3) come with Corsa B?

im looking for a CD/Mp3 player but i want it to be compatible with the head up display... can anyone help?

or even if its possible to connect a different headunit to the car but retain the head-up part too?

im trying to upgrade but also retain as much "factory" stuff as possible!

Thanx

No CD/MP3 player is availiable with the corsa B.

Corsa C's have some MP3 units but corsa C's have double din units.

Im not sure on other makes of vauxhall's with regard single din players. I am 95% sure this isnt possible on a corsa b.

You cant connect an aftermarket unit to the car either and retain the MFD display apart from having the date on all the time.

There would be no point at all in powering a sub off a standard unit, as the standard unit cannot supply much power to the speakers initially so the subs will drown them out, and to even get an amp working with a sub from a standard unit you have to lose your rear speakers.

IMO, do it properly, or not at all. Standard equipment is NOT designed for subs or any extreme use.

Headunits : Anything Alpine or Pioneer.
Speakers: Alpine/JL audio/Focal/Rockford Fosgate/Infinity
Subs: JL audio, R.E., Alpine, Rockford Fosgate, directed, blaupunkt
Amps, same as above and kenwood.

A budget would be a good start

nah not going alpine - i had alpine in my Escort RST (before it was knicked) was good quality kit but over priced i thought.

think ill just go with any head unit with JBL speakers etc etc, cheapish and chearfull(ish)
plus, my bro has JBL kit in his GT4 and it sounds good.

Cheers for the help in making up my mind!
