aye, just heard on the news as well - although the judge had a go at the police force for not having some sort of system in place to do speed testing on public roads

thing is though, what if you took an advanced driving course, and got a new car - does that mean you can do 160 down the motorway??

It might not be dangerous driving, but it's breaking the limit.
If the car and driver are capable of high speeds, members of the public would (and have) be let off too.

not crashed fatally but just if something had happened that would show that just because he is trained or whatever things can go wrong. train for years and it would still be risky and unnesceary

aahh ok
no amount of training/experience can make anyone a 100% good driver, this is the problem with alot of people aged 17-21, get cocky behind the wheel as they think theyre good drivers and can handle a car. end of day its not just you on the roads, anything could happen around you....

if i was a builder i'd expect to steal bricks, if i were a farmer i'd expect to bum sheep.

so being a policeman i'd want to be able to break the law

fair play to him
