Been to Omex today and have good news and very puzzling news
1) Good news is fueling far better around 90ish miles on 10 litres of fuel
2) Bad news something seriously wrong with something it only managed 171bhp which i cannot figure out why, and strangely enough neither can the rolling road centre i took it to..

There suggestions are to change the following:
1) Cams
2) Injectors
3) Have a good look at the bottom end..

Other fcuking thing is cost me £440.00 to find this out. Bang goes putting on the alarm on thursday now

I know you guys have heard it all before but now what do i do

Give up now and you will regret it. What ever car you buy will eventually need money spending on it, but with the Corsa you know whats been replace, you know the history.

Its a long winding road but hang on in there.

141 lb ft ? that's less than a standard XE?

What's going on? are your cams set up correctly? Wack a set of standard cams in there with normal set up (i.e. not offset to each other) - and then see what it makes out of interest.

could it be the first rolling orad was inaccurate? does it feel 30+bhp slower than it did before, something dropping that much power and torque would suggest it would be noticable when driving!?

having it live mapped has the problem of finding somewhere quiet enough to do it tho, air field would be ideal... (am i right in thinking a live map is when its mapped on the road)
