is the part the trottle cable attaches to and opens and closes part of the original TB? or does it come with the mantzel kit...
ive post about this a few times.... my manztel was fitted already when i got my engine..... the accelerator pedal is very heavy and i just dont think its normal....

only bit that came in the kit was the new bracket that holds the cable at the rubber gromet against the power box, there is a hole for the return spring but mine wouldnt fit, so i run mine with no return with zero problems,

I think it could be the routing of your accelerator cable it should come out from under the slam panel infront of the thermostate and then across the engine, take it ya leubed up the throttle springs etc

fit a c14se SRi cable on the damned thing 
will run along the bulkhead top then

The cable needs to be fixed at atleast one point cos when ya floor it the outer sheath will move instead of the cable, its normally screwed with a clamp to the slam panel, this holds it in place and lets only the cable inside move

get ya bird to hold the cable tight against the slam panel so it wont move while you try the accelerator you will soon know if this is the problem.

urm... removed them 2 springs...well not removed.. disabled
why the feck do they have 3 for anyways?
jesus christ the car is erm... a handfull.... ive been driving the birds tigra the last 2 days and i've got used to plant the trottle and going nowere quickly... the corsa is um... a tad different
surely a 2.0 corsa cant be much quicker thatn this? honestly yes i know over 80 it would rape me but i'd love to give one a race to 80.... just to see the difference...
anyways accelerator fixed by bodge
