I've just brought two Audiobahn AWC12T subs.
Spec
12" DVC Performer Subwoofer, 1000 Watts maximum power
60oz Strontium Magnat
Power handling: 500 watts RMS
Freq Response: 25Hz - 800Hz
Efficiency: 92dB
EPDM Rubber Surround
Molded, Texture injected Poly cone
2" 4 layer ASV Voice coil
Dual 4 ohm
Now I need some help on what amp to use to power them.
Can anyone point me in the direction of a good amp to power them.
Thanks.

ok so possible configs are
1x 1000w RMS at 1 ohm for one amp
or two amps each giving 500wRMS at 2 ohm
Whats your budget buddy?
The new mono kenwood amps are getting nothing but good reviews, two of these at £150 a piece and your sorted

Each one of those will whack out 550wRMS for each sub, lurvley.
Or if you just want to stick to a single amp, go for their £280 job.

Thats dead on 1000wRMS at 1 ohm, which is fine for both subs.
Personally, id go for the 2 amp job, for the hassle of the extra wiring, and the fact you will get a cleaner sound keeping it all at 2 ohm. Thats pretty much brilliant for what you want, and i think thats the cheapest your going to get to meet your power requirements.
If you have a higher budget, let me know
