45 on the tyre has nothing to do with the offset of the wheel the offset is usually inside the weel on 1 of the spoke your looking at the profile of the tyre

That ET Number is what to look for, 49 is correct for the Corsa B. Mine is lowered approx 50mm on 15's and is fine. Even 4 up My offset number was under my centre cap, but you might have to take your wheel off and look on the back of the spoke

Doubt it's 60 . Did you buy the wheels new or from another car. You'd probably end up with 38 or something

et45- 49 wouldn't scrub when lowered 60mm if you have 195/45 R16 tyres on try getting a Tyre with a more rounded tyrewall aswell for extra clearance! (i.e Falkens )

I had ET 35 on my old Corsa and had to cut away the Arach right to the 1/4 panel in parts leaving maybe about 2-3mm of metal so i didnt damage the 1/4 it was also JUST Enough to bond my Arch mouldings back on at the top... (i left enough room at the bumper and down by the Sill to get loads of bonding on though)

no, not the higher the better...

corsa B perfect offset is et49

the closer to that number the less likely it will scrub, ideally u want et45-49....

u will only find out by removing your wheel and having a look over it for the et then number. when u have that come and tell us and we can let u know whether it will scrub or not... otherwise its just guess work which is pointless...

i have et45 wheels -60mm at front and it did scrub a little but i butchered my arches and now it doesn't, and i'm -40 on the back so it isn't bad unless i have 3 ppl

Well Said..

Take your Wheel off, have a look on the Back of EACH SPOKE (if they are large spokes) and on the back should be ET ?? Engraved/stamped on the back of the wheel!

If it is'nt on the Spoke, look on the Hub section (where the holes for the Bolts are) it will be there or underneath the Centre cap on the front!!!!

Just out of curiosity what wheels are they As this might save you the hassle of taking them off!!!

I was hoping for you to say Speedline Allesio

The Offset is Stamped on the Back of the Spoke OR on the Hub (read what I've said and DNA has said as it ANSWERS ALL YOUR QUESTIONS!)
