hey i got a 99 corsa sxi.. ive been offered a 1.6 16v from a sport or a gsi, not sure which one it is tho... what all do i need to put this engine into my car. i take it its not a straight swap...

wiring loom will be a pain but appart from that fairly simple

ive just done a 1.0 12v to a 1.4 16v on a mates car, wiring was a bit fiddly, but not too dificult. problem is the ecu loom goes to the engine on the 1.2/1.0 as the ecu is mounted on the inlet manifold.

i can do u a wiring diagram if u like?

didnt you have a problem with it cutting out though?

yes, but thats due to the type of gearbox sender.
