Jack the front end of the car up, get a oil catch try from halfords and make sure you have a new filter and fresh oil to put in.

Run the car for a few mins to get the engine warmish

Take the oil cap off
Slowly start to undo the sump nut (be carefull as you dont wanna just wang it out as oil WILL go everywhere!)
Once the oil is flowing just leave the bucket under neather for 10 mins to make sure its all drained out.

Then remove your old filter and replace with new fresh one

Replace sump nut

Fill with oil while contatly stopping to check oil level on dipstick.

Once its full then take car off jack and replace oil cap and jobs done

Not long, about 40 minutes to do the 3 cars here. On doing the sump plug back up, don't do it too tight (to the correct torque if you have a torque wrench), and changing the sump plug washer doesn't harm.
