Just bought some alloys and there are metal valve caps on there which i cant get off. i tried wd40 on them overnight and it hasnt done anything, any tips on how to get them off without damaging the valves?

heat them up perhaps?

get 2 sets of plyers, hold the rubber valve stem with one (as high up to the cap as possible)
and undo the cap with the other.
just be careful and dont use too much force, you dont wanna rip your valve off alltogether.

Once they're off, fit black plastic caps in future.

i didnt put the metal caps on
@ mike,
already tried that, they r rock solid!
prob just have to get new valves fitted

you will not get them off m8 take them to shop and get new valv cap's around £3-5 pound each fitted

just split them and take them off. how do people find such simpe things so difficult
